SUBCOMMITTEE: RESTORATION

OBJECTIVES
Assess industry's current capabilities to physically restore broadcast service in an effort to identify what enhancements or additions are needed.
Facilitate the rapid restoration of broadcast and MVPD services in the event of widespread or major disruptions.
Evaluate the redundancy of media infrastructure within each industry and among different sectors.
Report on current disaster recovery mechanisms, techniques, and best practices
Develop additional mechanisms, techniques, and best practices necessary more effectively restore broadcast and MVPD services following disruptions caused by terrorist activities, natural disasters, or similar types of occurrences
